Page 2!
Without Steve Sidoruk (center, flanked by his slightly familiar trumpet player buddy and his ex), a lot of what A&M Corner is today could never have happened. Steve was the creative power behind A&M Fan Network, and helped with fact checking and filling in some major holes in the information posted on this site. Many thanks, good buddy!!
The new pooch at the Sidoruk residence is Robbie, a playful pup with that ever-so-faint gleam of "troublemaker" in his eyes... ;-)
One frequent guest of A&M Corner was drummer par excellence, Claudio Slon. If the name sounds familiar, it should be. Near and dear to the fans of Brasil '66/'77, Claudio has performed on several albums with Sergio Mendes, and actually made his debut to American ears on the platinum-selling album Rain Forest as part of the Walter Wanderley Trio. The list of musicians he's performed with is a who's who of the Brazilian and jazz music fields. Check out his biography at the Vartans Jazz website. A self-proclaimed "Brazilian Colorado Cowboy," Claudio resided in Colorado up until he passed away from a bout with cancer, and we were glad to have spent some time with him during his A&M Corner visits in the past.

Further proof that A&M fans come in all shapes, sizes and walks of life! ;-) Trent Sprenkle is pictured here "several heavy metal years back at the Cat Club in NYC" with a former band, Vaudeville. Trent's current band is Bloom Box; this band and others are featured on Trent's own website. Trent--you owe me a set of 3-D shades, and you know what they're for... ;-)
Setting the record for the fastest submission to the Rogues Gallery (we only just met him a couple of days before we got a picture), Dave Twogood is pictured here with Nokie Edwards after the All Star Guitar Night in Nashville last July. From left to right surrounding Nokie are Joe Davis, Chuck Davis, Jack Davis, Dave, and Jonathan Horne in front. Visit Dave at his own Ventures and Underground Fire website.
Residing in the U.K., our resident "abstract (he)art" admirer Stephen Vakil is pictured here in front of a rather familiar painting by one Herb Alpert.
In our "world traveller" department is David Winer, spotted here among the streets of ancient Rome. Further proof that there is life beyond A&M Corner. ;-) He's also a local, another member of our Great Lakes chapter of A&M fanatics, living about 20 or so miles from the epicenter of A&M Corner, and Rudy's surprised he hasn't run into David, since we frequent many of the same used record haunts...

Very interesting, indeed: here's a recent photograph from this past summer (1998) of the Paula Worhatch clan. From left to right are #1 son Mark, #2 son Ricky, Paula (claiming "runt of the family" status) and her husband David. Or is this the real Paula? Number 1 son Mark (why does this sound like a Charlie Chan movie all of a sudden??) sent me a picture (below) that he claims is the real Paula! But we all know her as our resident Brazilian music encyclopedia and fellow warrior in the search for great A&M sounds...that is, when the rest of the family can pry Brasil Nativo out of her CD player. ;-)
Mooo???
...and finally, at long last, by popular request, here are two pictures of your fearsome leader here at A&M Corner! The first one was, oooh, maybe a couple of years ago. The other, below, is a revelatory self portrait taken in 2003. (Yes, that is "Olympus" spelled backward!)
